Play and other co-curricular activities allow pupils to build their self esteem and social skills. It is also an opportunity for students to work out their feelings and to learn about their world. Embu Kawa Academy recognizes and appreciates the importance of play and co-curricular activities in a pupil’s growth. With an ample play ground and the recognition of the importance of play in a pupil’s development and growth, Embu Kawa Academy has several co-curricular activities that the pupils are engaged in.

Since religious matters are of great concern for spiritual growth, catechism classes are offered on Saturdays and many pupils have been baptized and confirmed through this programme. This is a rare opportunity in many schools.
